Service Description
If you require any sort of advocacy support we can assist. This is not limited to NDIS matters, it may be for guardianship / trustee issues, or anything you may need another voice with knowledge speaking up for you. If within the NDIS it may be for plan applications, resolving disputes, re-assessments, NDIS internal reviews or going to the AAT with your NDIS plan we can assist you in providing help with difficult and complex situations. Unfortunately funding is not available for this service so it is self funded. We are available 7 days a week 8 am to 8 pm. You will be dealing with the Dee for highly complex matters, she is the person who trains other support coordinators, has 20 years’ experience in the disability sector.Holds a Masters in Disability Practice, Bachelor of Commerce (Commercial Law), Grad Dip Mediation, Adv Dip Community Service, is a qualified professional counsellor and real estate agent. All our staff are personally trained and supervised by Dee so you will only be getting the best. Disputes or issues with your current service provider, a review of your NDIS plan or assistance with proceedings at the AAT (Administrative Appeals Tribunal). Or general support planning, we will get every cent out of your plan. We have a qualified Mediator to assist you who has 3 children with special needs and high professionally and personally experienced with these issues. If you are having a dispute with your service provider, we can provide mediation between the parties (this is not a normal function of Support Coordinators, if you feel there is a conflict of interest or outside the niche of your current Support Coordinator you may wish to approach us for assistance). If you have funding this may be able to be claimed under your plan. If you are self or plan managed, you can come directly to us.If you are NDIA managed, you will need to approach your registered service provider about sub-contracting us for your specialised needs. Once booked sessions are non-refundable. With a minimum of 24 hrs notice you and change the time / day equivalent to the amount you have paid, and this is valid for up to 3 months from the date of your original booking. Only one cancellation per payment is accepted.
